services we provide

The things that we do, the services that we provide, are done under the overreaching philosophy of providing the bridge between conservation science and policy and management. The greatest portion of our services may be grouped into these categories:

  • GIS — We utilize computer technology and Geographic Information System software to provide access to conservation data for policy and management decision making. A few examples of this are:
    • Building functioning tools in conservation datasets.
    • Conservation overview and design.
    • Assess conservation values
    • Developing environmental science and environmental education projects and plans.
    • Fire analysis
  • Remote sensing
  • Planning

These services are organized under our Programs.

In the community, we provide training in GIS and conservation related fields .
