Robert M. Scheller

Dr. Robert Scheller is a forest landscape ecologist with extensive experience in forest modeling. Dr. Scheller's research examines many of the biotic, abiotic and anthropogenic processes that drive potential long-term change in forested ecosystems with particular emphasis on climate change, wildfire, harvesting, insect defoliation, and invasive species. His research is funded by the US Forest Service, NASA, and The Nature Conservancy and he is a lead scientist developing the LANDIS-II forest landscape simulation model.
